Thanks, Little John! I'm taking my green drop light then.

The crappie are on the flats over 30 feet of water about 16 to 18 feet deep. Look for any wood or brush at this depth and spider rig over it with a blue and white jig tipped with a minnow. For night fishing find a slide or brush close to the bank in deeper water and anchor up and drop lights.

Hey Dave...no help here. It was a hectic weekend over there. Never seen so many boats in all my life. Also it was fairly hot...mid-90's both days I was there. I went for the night bite but only got to fish an hour or so just at dark and my bud hadda go to shore. I marked several big new slides that I really wanted to fish...I'll have to go back over in a week or so.
