Redear sunfish aka...shellcracker bite on Kentucky and Barkley!
Just got in from a good night of bass fishing with my dad and the warm weather tonight's got me thinking it maybe that time for the shellcracker to fire up!! N e one been seeing n e caught other the 2!or 3? I'm going to blood River tomorrow and think the bite will be on down there!! I'm always torn when it comes to fishing Barkley or Kentucky for the redears. What lake do you guys prefer? I think you get bigger ones in Barkley but better numbers in Kentucky! And there's one thing for sure they are a blast to catch and are even harder to find! But that's the attraction for me!!!! Wish me and pops luck tomorrow!! I got crickets, leaf worms, night crawlers and waxies! I'll post back later in the pm!!!

Yes sir! There a blast for sure should be getting ready to light on fire! Never fished KY lake for them always stayed on Barkley! There's nothing better than setting the hook in to a 1lbs or 1.5lbs shell cracker! Good luck bud! Can't wait to see how you do we will be down in a week in a half! I'm getting pumped!
