Could always rig yourself a fill valve, pressurize to 4 or 5 psi then hit it with the soapy water and see what bubbles

When you say youve set it up and put water inside it but its dry as a bone are you filling the inside of the kayak?

Id set it on a couple of saw horses, open your front hatch and put the garden hose inside and get a good amount of water inside. If you dont see any leaks remove the back sawhorse so all the water pools to the rear of the yak and look for leaks. Then put the rear sawhorse back and remove the font one.

then turn it upside down. upside down youd probably have to ignore hatches unless its excessive

Upside down is how we found a leak in a friends kayak. The leak was under the seat where the seat rested.

Yes I set it on saw horses and filled the inside. I drained all the water and took it out and paddled around. It was dry when I got finished. Haven’t tried it upside down but will try that.
