Thread: Kayak - Length Vs Width ?

I have a 10' Hunter sit in and a 13' fin peddle both in Pelican. I would say get both. Grin. I've had the 13' in a windy lake trying to take water and upset it is sturdy in all conditions for aft and beam sea; it just rides up and over all; especially beam seas you don't feel anything but rise and fall. Be brave get after it. That said I would not be afraid of any seas inland or ocean in my 10' either. Go Pelican. P.S. I don't sell Pelican or anything, I'm retired. If you end up here I might sell you a lure.
