Here's some pictures of how I rigged the depthfinder on my kayak. Instead of gluing the box to the floor, it could be temporarily anchored with putty. You need to realize that if you knock the putty loose, you'll lose your signal. Here goes;
Here's the box open with the transducer in some water.
Box under the seat.
Battery box is behind the seat. I got quick detach pet collars to rig a removable keeper system.
Battery box open -spare fuses in medicine bottle.
Wires in wire loom for protection.
Shad & Crappie on screen.
