    Default Maiden Voyage

The weather cooperated, accessories finally arrived, and the planets aligned allowing me to get my new kayak on the water. I had ordered the Native Sidekick landing gear a month ago. It took USPS 3 weeks to get it to me only to see the wrong model was shipped. The dealer I purchased it from was very quick to get me the correct model, shipping UPS this time. With it being the maiden voyage, I chose a lake that had an easy launch, anticipating I would be beaching the Titan to make adjustments. It took a couple of times to get the seat to pedal distance to where it was comfortable. I spent 3 hours familiarizing myself with it. I will say the pedal drive is awesome, I'm loving the new ride. I did take the skunk off of it, boating 2 small yellow perch that couldn't resist a crappie magnet on a black jig head. I couldn't get any interest in my hand ties, but the water is cold and it's still early her in the Pacific NW.

That is one sweet ride! Love the gray and the gold Crappie.com sticker looks really good on there. Glad you had a good day out and hope you have many more enjoyable days on the water with it.

Awesome setup. That is part of the fun of kayak fishing is making it yours and tricking it out.
