I have one of the 10 footers. My son and I love to fish out of it. Very stable. We're both right at 250# and have never had any trouble with stability. The only thing we did with ours is put the millennium seats(white ones) in it. The white ones are adjustable which really helps with my arthritis.

They are great seats. Surely nice in the summer time keeping some air flow around you.

Any idea how they do in windy conditions?

I`ve adapted to dealing with my 14 ' Jon boat in the wind but was wondering how these do.

A lot of people like them. I had one before my kayak, but personally it didn't work for me. Biggest issue for me was that it was too heavy to load in the back of my F-150 by myself. In the few instances that I had 2 people, it was much easier to handle. If you are going to launch it yourself, I strongly recommend getting something like a harbor freight trailer so you can back the trailer right down to the water.

Mine is about like my Jon boat. It doesn't have a rudder so it can be irritating in stiff winds.

have one and it is outstanding in smaller ponds and lakes I use it for. havn't had it on bigger lakes but have seen others with gas motors on use it but they were not going very far to fish. only have TM on mine. like suggestion of getting small trailer for it IF your going by yourself. too much for me to handle putting it in back of pickup alone. if your not going too far or fishing back waters on bigger lakes would be fine. also have seen folks put fishing platform on front and really giving a great place to cast from.

I had a sun dolphin 8 foot I believe it was. While it was more "fishable" than our canoe, Its also essentially a floating bathtub. Doesn't cut through water well, spins circles in a breeze, etc.

The plus+ I like are its light weight that I could haul in my truck without a trailer.

I also fish solo a fair amount and I think this boat would be ideal.

I have thr Bass Raider Pelican with a 45 lb thrust trolling motor and love it. No problem with stability. Great for coves, docks and small to medium size lakes and rivers. Best fishing money I ever spent .
