    Default My fourth kayak

Always heard 3rd time is a charm so what’s the fourth?
Started out with a Jackson big rig. Super stable and great to fish out of. Heavy as a tank.
Went with a Jackson bite fd pedal drive next. Great little boat. Lighter and pedal drive but was just not stable enough for my weight range.
Next was a Hobie pa 12. Well, next for a week. Loved the pedal drive and comfort but the Pa 12 was not quite as stable as I’d like. Dealer was super good since I couldn’t try it before buying and let me trade in on the pa14 180 drive.
I think I’ve finally found the sweet spot.
This thing fishes great. Christened it today with 12 crappie off of single pole. Now to get it set up for spider riggin.

Glad you found one you like. Interesting that the PA12 wasn’t stable though. I figured all those Hobie would be nice and stable. I can see me upgrading to the 360 sometime or something comparable. Those drives are awesome, Right now I’m loving my Native Titan though.

Those ProAngler 14 look sweet. I would think they would be stable for just about anyone.

It's amazing how much more stable my FeelFree Lure 11.5 seems since I lost 60 pounds during the pandemic.

Nice kayak, but if you are like me you will find a need for another different purpose kayak. Let us know when you get #5.

Agree with everything you said except I went the other direction with my pandemic weight!
