    It's basically a long pole of some kind that is pushed into the ground and then you tie or run pole through a scupper hole to keep you anchored. Works shallow water only.

    When the wind is over 15mph, my 10lb anchor barely holds my 12' aluminum boat in position. 15# anchor - no problem.
