Question ? ? Twin Troller, small jon boat, 10' plastic boat ? ?

Twin Troller Models & Packages | Freedom Electric Marine

    Boats | Pelican Sport

10' Lowe L1032 Riveted Jon, Fishing and Hunting Boats | Lowe Boats

Doesn't have to be one of those three above, just there for a reference.

Thoughts? Pro's & Cons of each?

Fishing style -at the moment, bass (I know, I know, don't beat me to bad!), Lots of casting. If I'm in the mood, or on the right lake, fish for crappie. 90% of the time, it's just me. As much as I like the boat I just redid, I'd like to get back into a boat of this size.
Also, this is probably the most important, in a year or three we will be getting a travel trailer. Getting a boat I could put on a ladder rack, in the bed, etc. and still tow the trailer, is my current mindset. It would kill me to be camping by a body of water, and NOT have a boat!!!
At the moment, I say no to a kayak, for the stability. Unless you can persuade me otherwise.

I'd go with the pelican 10. Then you can run a trolling motor at either end. But only you know for sure, what will work for you.

We love out Pelican Bass Raider 10E. Very stable. Wind does effect it some. You would have to have a ladder rack, though. I put Millinium B200, white seats in ours. Best seat for my money.

Thank you both! Jigflinger - I 100% agree on the millennium seats!! Been watching videos, on boats of that size, have commented that on a few of them.
I put 100's for the driver and passenger, and have a 300 for the front.

I wouldn't want to put any of those on a ladder rack or roof, especially solo. A good canoe or kayak would be still be tough but easier to load. A good kayak or canoe can still take an electric motor and be stable enough fish standing up. For a travel trailer, I would be leaning to an inflatable such as Outcast or NRS.

Your not towing with a truck? Then go with a canoe or kayak. For me, would only tow with a truck, as all your food and stuff would be in the camper. Then as long as the camper has enough tongue sticking out, you could then load the 10 footer in the bed even with 6 ft bed.

Looks pretty slick, I would be scared to see the sticker price though.
