But if it means sitting higher and comfortable might be worth it. Seen them DIY from 2 liter bottles. Cheap, work and lightweight. Have to figure out what’s more important to you. I have a new pedal kayak, it’s heavy but I sit up high, it’s comfortable and pretty stable. Worth it to me.

I was guessing that your were going to come to that conclusion. I was hoping it was going to work out for you though.

I just sold the Old Town Discovery 119. It didn't take anytime to sell, apparently they are hard to come by.

    D10,
I sold it to an Arkansas Game and Fish employee and I am told it will be floating down the Buffalo tomorrow along with a family float trip. I'm glad it will be going to good use and I believe a nice young family. I may try to snag the longer version (Disco 158), but it's not currently available locally so I may just look around a bit. Easy come, easy go!

I was able to order the bigger brother of the Disco 119, so I've got a Discovery 158 on its way. Hopefully, the added length and width will work for me. If it doesn't, I may have to do something similar to what SuperDave mentioned about some kind of a stabilizer. I really think shedding a few pounds would be my best option, though not the easiest.

Dang! Wish I would have known you would be selling. After using mine, my dad wants one. What was the name of the guy who bought it?

    Matt,
I sent you a PM with the info. I wasn't for sure if they minded having it posted online or not.
Also, I included a link to a Discovery 119 in the PM you may or may not be interested in. I hope it helps.
