    Smile Belly boating/tube fishing

Question...if there are any other belly boaters out there, got a question for ya. Has anyone tried to repair a leak in the tube (I use a round tube/donut with a truck tube) with Fix a Flat, the stuff that comes in a can? If so, how did it work out? I'm trying to see if I can fix it without taking the tube out of the cover...

Based on this, my guess is no.

Recently purchased a Cumberland float tube that has 2 bladders that are Enclosed in a zippered fabric. Included with the tube are some repair patches similar to a bicycle tube repair kit.

I've tried that fix a flat in my 4 wheeler and riding lawn mower. Isn't worth the effort. Spend a bit of time and patch it right!

I went one better...just gave in and replaced the tube. I had already patched it a few times, so I bit the bullet and spent a few bucks for a new tube. Well worth it! FWIW, my wife has used the Fix a Flat a couple of times over the years for her car tire...works well enough to get it home so we could take the tire to a repair shop. Unfortunately, that stuff is a beast to clean out of a tire. But in a pinch...

Works okay in a vehicle tire because it needs to be driven to distribute the fixaflat in the tire. Dont think it would work so well in inflatables
