Default Happy with my little Sportsman

About a month ago I picked up my little Sun Dolphin Sportsman boat and havenít looked back! I sold my Eagle Talon and Vibe kayaks because they hurt my back sitting low for so long, and now I can sit and stand comfortably while fishing. Ready to catch all kinds of fish now!Name: CB5CD94A-A455-4C8A-81D1-ADAB1C4AE8BF.jpg

Looks good. How are you going to power it?

I have a 40 pound thrust Minn Kota trolling motor that does a pretty decent job getting it around. A kayak paddle doesnít do a bad job with it, too.

Nice rig. Find an old dead TM and strip it of most everything and add a blade as a tiller to clamp on the back. TM’s are more efficient from the front and this keeps the back from blowing around. I enjoyed mine, have fun with it.

Are you going to rig it for spider fishing? If you are, how do you plan on doing it? Pop

Pop is talking about using more than one pole at a time, called spider rigging, which you could do.
