if it's not leaking I wouldn't worry about it, it won't hurt the boat performance where it is.

I have one twice as deep as that in my xpress where I missed the mark about 5 ‘ and hit a bouy marker at midnight runnng about40mph like and idiot ! It hasn’t effected any thing but it has made me a lot more cautious and I have added a big light for running after dark !

Looks like the previous owner hit a stump. May hurt top end speed or handling on calm water, but shouldn't be of any major issues.. you wont sink

Just adds character. depending on the water you fish and/or how much you fish, you'll add some from your own doing.

    Enjoy your new boat!

Is the boat painted or bare aluminum? I can't tell from the pictures. You could probably get the dent out with heat if it's not painted. Start outside the dent, heating it with a heat gun or micro propane torch, just don't melt a hole in the aluminum. Circle the dent until the outside is hot, then make smaller circles until you finally get to the center. With any luck, you'll hear one big POP. When I was restoring my Xpress, there was a dent in the side. I used a micro propane torch but I was repainting the boat anyway. About the time I decided it wasn't going to work, I got the POP. That spot is now slick as a peeled onion.

U need to be very careful doing this, the inside of these hulls have expanded foam as a deadener, u would be better off ignoring it, there isn't a crease and it's not going to affect performance that much
