    Default Nucanoe frontier 12

Do any of you use the Nucanoe frontier 12?

I had one bought last year but the guy sold it out from under me before I got to it.

I'm leaning towards buying the new 2020.

I would be using it for crappie fishing, catfish, deer hunting, and duck hunting.

What are your thoughts and opinions on it ?

    Thanks!

I bought mine new in 2013, it’s the only kayak I’ve ever owned,so my input may not be of value. That said, the wide beam allows for great stability,Over the years I’ve outfitted it ( mostly DIY ) to suit my needs.I have no qualms about recommending a frontier 12,mine has treated me well.

Had mine 2 years; I fish rivers and electric-only lakes with it. I changed the seat to a Millennium, installed sonar, and added a trolling motor. I wish it was lighter every time I load/unload it, and it is not very nimble in rapids. It is the aircraft carrier of kayaks! Big, heavy, stable, and slow.

Thanks guys. I contacted a local dealer and I’m pulling the trigger on a 2020. It won’t be In stock for 3 weeks but that’s okay. Still pretty cold out anyway

    thank you!

Setting it it up for fishing first and hunting next season

I can’t wait! I picked up a GoPro hero 8 last night. I’ll do some fishing videos. But nothing too serious with the videoing.
