Cool. I highly recommend the stadium seat. Linked video to mobbin outdoors with seat. Lots of fun to make your own. Did some mods on mine yesterday. Have fun!!

Yeah I’ve already planned on that eventually. I can tell this seat isn’t made for long trips.

I just picked up the same yak yesterday, found it on ebay new for about half the price, has some scratches and need to replace the front bungee, but it was local p/u so saved on freight. Saw a lot good upgrades and ideas on here for rigging it up, seat mod definitely first on the list ( my knees don't bend so well anymore ). This is my first kayak and can't wait to get on the water, this is going to access a lot of water I can't get to in my boat. I was going to get a pond hopper w/troller until I found out I had to register it, I believe this is the better option anyway. C'mon spring! I want to get this thing wet.

Oh I can’t wait to get on the water. I’ve been tempted to go a couple of cold days. But since I’ve never been in one I’m gonna wait till I can get out when it’s a little warmer.

I hear ya, I can't wait to get this on the water either. Ole man winter has got me all froze up with no sign of stopping in the near future, but that gives me plenty of time (ok too much) to get this rigged up. I wasn't planning on getting one till spring, but couldn't pass up this deal, and saw a lot of good reviews on this yak. The only thing I see so far is that the rear storage lid does not sit flat, I got an old milk crate I was going to put back there, thinking about using some semi stiff foam blocks I have around the edges of the crate to raise it up so it clears the lid and is more stable.

Hope you guys both enjoy it as much as me. It’s a blast. I have a hard time reaching behind my seat area when on water. Might want to lay on ground and sit and try reaching around before storing much needed items there.
