How do y’all have your fish finder mounted??Where do you put the transducer?

I have a Helix 5 DI/GPS mounted on the top of a plastic "ammo can" using a Ram mount, the battery inside the box and the transducer is mounted in a thick piece of packing foam with tie-wraps. The battery is a 7 AH Gel cell and provides enough weight so the "ammo can" is very stable in the bottom of my canoe or my 10' jon. I just drop the transducer over the side and let it trail back a bit.
