Thread: looking at a new way to fish...

Maybe you can get a few more ideas. One thing I want to note, in my experience and my opinion, Pelican brand will tend to be slightly better quality for about the same price or slightly higher than the Sun Dolphin brand. But dont come with a paddle. The angler versions are generally only a couple dollars more (pic of orange and green yaks) green one was 30$ more maybe and has 2 rod holders aft of seat and one forward(adjustable, kinda lol). Find ya some cheap foam pads for seat bottom and back. Always check rolled seam along side of the cheaper yaks, the orange one was actually split since new.

Good point about the pelican. I saw some in Dunham’s sports for under $200 and they looked very nice and stable. I saw them after I had bought mine though and looked them up. Pretty good reviews. I would definitely check those out. I think they put them on sale pretty regularly too.

Oh that's ok, no just how it's set up is all...but no big hurry as it will probably be around Feb. before I get it anyway...but thanks. Still not sure which one I'll end up with so thank you for the pic's of yours too...
