    Default paddle stowage while fishing

Where and how do you all stow your paddles while you fish? Inasmuch as my kayak does not have any sort of paddle storage, I am thinking of adding some paddle clips. Are there any better or worse?

    Thanks in advance, Wally "FishnFed"

My kayak has an area to lay the paddle and then put bungee to secure it on the side. If it didn’t then the paddle clips on the side is what I would do. Both of those are for when anchored, when I’m moving I simply lay it down in my lap for easy grabbing and kayak adjustment.

I use a trolling motor on my kayak most times, when I do I carry it broken down behind my seat.If I'm using a paddle,I simply lay it across my lap while fishing, doing so let me quickly access it for adjusting the yak.

Strapped on side of Nucanoe - it has a stretchy paddle keeper - when trolling around with the motor, but held in lap for adjustments on anchored or off-motor situations. Fishing shallow rivers/rocky shoals with no motor, in lap all the time. I have a tether on it so I can just lay it in the water beside me if I need to free my hands.
