Question keeping rods in rod holders

I can see where this could get challenging. I was thinking of a couple of stainless screw eyes and a small bungee. Any suggestions?

    Thanks

I have rod holders built into the hull. I have a Future Beach Trophy 126. The handle of my dock shooting rod is not very long and looks like it my go overboard.

Bungees work great. I have my rod holders fastened to my crate and my bungees for the rods are tied on the crate, and it is all bungee tied to the kayak. Most of the time tying them in is not necessary, but it can save you alot of money when you turtle.
