Well since I have such a limited budget these days I bought what I could afford and not my dream yak. Anything to get me going. After doing some research online I purchased the tamarack angler $297. Love the blue color! Have many plans for upgrades and things to add but for now this gets me on the water. Work in progress!

Have plans for anchor trolley, something to keep fish (stringer or bucket) and milk crate maybe. I really want to keep it simple though and will do stuff as time and finances allow. I bought a new paddle because first trip out the original paddle filled with water and with no drip rings totally got me wet.

I have an old tan bass pro life jacket but was wanting a new kayak one. What I have works so wasn’t purchasing one right away. Was thinking about the NRS Chinook fishing one though.

i wasn’t planning on depth finder but might see I need one as well. That looks pretty interesting what you have. Do you have to mount anything in kayak? I haven’t done any research into those and everything has changed since I was younger and fishing.

Do you use a milk crate or just the 5 gallon bucket? I’m thinking I could actually do without it although it seems every kayak angler has one....lol. I have a nice small tackle bag that will hold all I plan on needing (to start anyway) and it could fit up front and leave back for bucket.

i bought the 3 lb anchor and attached paracord. Wanting a DIY stakeout pole and have been looking at all the choices.
