Thread: Perception Pescador Pilot 12

Hi all
I have a Pescador Pilot and have had it out about a dozen times. The last two times i've had it out, the pedal drive has been making a constant high pitch squeaking noise (forward and reverse). When I have the pedal drive out of the water and turn the pedals I can tell the noise is coming from the lower unit. I even took the propeller off and it still makes the noise. Anyone have any clue? I've searched all over the net and cannot find anyone who has had this problem. My next step is contacting Perception I guess. Thanks.

I did a Google search, typed in perception pescador pilot noise, came up with 4 youtube videos that describe noise problems with the pilot, but not really like what you're describing. Hope you can fix it.
