RR I wish but not yet lol. For us that get that one or maybe two day trip I want to make the most of it. 7 more years though...7 more years

Hang in there. The wait is worth ever minute. In the meantime, don't be wishing your life away. Enjoy everyday...........they go faster than you think when you aren't
looking. I keep telling myself that everyday and they still slip by so fast I can hardly believe it. The crappies do taste better the older you get, that is a fact.

My back is good for 3-4 hours max. I usually don't stay out that long. I'll go out in the evening after work and fish a couple of hours, that's enough for me.

Depends on how old and decrepit you are, in my case I used not eat, drink or pee for 8 hours setting in a tree stand now I can't go more than 3 hours without peeing.

I out last my grandkids on fishing trips, but 5 hours hurts this old body.

I'm 67 and still like to be there when the sun rises and leave right before it sits. If I catch some fine, but I just love being on the water.

Three to five hours though I get in 2 to 3 fishing trips a week now. Usually want to get back to the house and do other stuff. Avoids sunburn and I dress for either hot or cold. Don't like to paddle back when it's 70 degrees sunny and I'm dressed for predawn. Miss the work traffic too.

3-4 hours is enough for me, but I don't have one of the high-end rigs. Mine are inexpensive SINKs - but the appeal to me of kayaking was simplicity, 'less is more', remote access, etc. If I'm gonna trailer something - it'll likely be my bass boat. I'm considering trying one of the really nice SOTs sometime, but probably will wait until I retire. (in 1-3 years) we'll see. In the meantime, I'm gonna be pretty Spartan in accommodations and that means not as comfy.
