I really didn't need it, I just wanted it to fish a few electric only oxbows at a wildlife refuge so I didn't want to spend much. I bought the hull on Letgo for $175 and the trolling motor on Craigslist that same night for $60. $235 for the whole rig was a steal. I cut 16 in. off the shafts and rethreaded it to draft as little as possible and keep the head low for ease in casting. I'm usually fishing on the deck of my ProCraft but for a quick trip this is awesome.

Heck of a deal and nice to be handy with the tools to modify it to you liking. Would like to have one just like it, color don't matter.

I have one similar to this. Its a little longer. The boat is an old Bobcat pirogue my dad had in his shop for years and never used much. I put a 40lb minkota on it and bought a used jetski trailer . I love fishing close to the water. When the fish are shallow it won't spook them as bad a big boat.
