Has anyone tried using Scotty rod holders in gear tracks? The ones in pics above look like they would be really easy to lift up pole (and set hook?). I currently have two Scotty's and thought of getting two more and place a little more forward as a spider rig sollution. Thoughts?

I now have a ride 115 so I'm working on something similar to stymie for mine. However I want to make sure to incorporate the Hi-teks cause they are nice. If you do go with Scotty's Hook1 has some spacers that let you have infinite adjustment up and down.

I really like Stymie's design. I think my Slayer is about to get "spider rigged"!!!
I currently use two YakAttack Zooka Tube rod holders in the gear tracks but would like to be able to use 4 rods.

been talking to Scott at Hi-Tek about design that will work with Scotty Gear heads. Two rod holders that will work on left and right side. He seemed interested. Still waiting for update.
