Scott, you might incorporate a way to move the seat slightly forward if needed to help keep things "balanced" with a battery behind the seat. Never been on an inflatable 'toon, so I wouldn't have a clue as to if it'd even be needed. Maybe someone else here runs a TM on theirs and can chime-in on battery placement and any related weight distribution/balance issues.

Keep postin' pics as you go.....we like pics!

I took the bow mount Minn Kota v2 45 thrust and 45" with foot controls and shortened the shaft to 35", I reversed the head and mounted as a stern drive...I hacked the foot controls..youtube..so left would be left and right would be right on a stern mount. I installed a scotty mini down rigger on a scotty rod holder mount and a Humming bird fish finder on a scotty mount. The foot controls after hacking I took a clue gun and water proofed all the wireing and mounted it on the foot pegs. Steering took a little to adjust to with the foot controls but I soon got the hang of it and was able to make minor adjustments with a light breeze. I plan to add some kind of rutter system for better tracking while trolling.

I had to move my seat forward to adjust for weight and extend the foot pegs.

Hey Scott, I just bought a pontoon last year and have not used it yet, next week I hope, but this is what I am looking at doing with mine as mine does not have a factory mount like yours does. I found it on Youtube.
