driftmaster makes T rod holders that you could mount to the just about any flat surface using their "star shaped" mount that screws to the flooring. check out driftmasters.com, you could using some plastic cutting board as backing or support under the mount/inside the hull if you have access to the inside of the boat to make the mount more secure or stronger. These t rod holders will set up or take down in a minute and work good for longlining if you do that style.
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

90 will work; 77 not so much

I'd have put down studs and then added snaps to carpet, but I'm a canvas guy...

had my basshound on our private lake for a decade but then got a divorce and ex had to sell it and it worked fantastic when you didn't have to lift it and didn't have trailer. livewell was so handy to have and fishing out of it was good. Saw a couple of modifications that put marine plywood on front and had a casting platform that really upped it's game. Like how yours is laid out must have been a later model and the idea of putting carpet in it.

still have it but have to pick it up and move it to different lakes in back of pickup. Have a issue with it getting full of water now when I fish it. have to stand it up and drain it after each use and wondering if it would be coming in thru livewell as water comes in from lake without a stopper. anyone experience this. as we mostly fish t hill off bank now havn't used it in few years but want to.

I use Marine Carpeting Do-It-Yourself carpet. True to its name, this product comes with an installation kit so you can lay it on your boat floor on your own. The carpet comes along with a carpet knife, free blades, free tech advice, and an installation guide.
