    Default Tale of two days

    Yesterday
On the water at 0630. Seemed every piece of brush we hit had active fish willing to eat. Off the water about noon. We quit keeping track at 50 but I am sure we were in the 70s. 17 went home with us.

    Today
On the water the same time. My most consistant spots gave us goose eggs. Did have a largemouth take 2 swipes at an 11" crappie right on the side of the boat. We struggled and finally figured out chartruse baits held almost perfectly still were the ticket. Found a new stick of brush and caught 5 12" fish in a row then it just died. We caught maybe half as many fish but quality was better today. Kept 15.

Both days 12 to 20 ft produced fish but 12-15ft seem more consistent.
