I've got a Crestliner. The #1 by volume Crestliner dealer is only 3 hours away in Pittsburg, Mo. They smoked everyone on price when we bought ours. I would also add G3 to your list. I had a V172C. I love that Yamaha outboard.

We have a Lowe Limited Edition 18.5. Modified bottom....we also fish out of a G3 22ft pontoon. I do prefer the pontoon for drifting and fishing off the front with spot lock. If I was to purchase another boat for crappie fishing it would be an Alumacraft. They come in 3 sizes 175,185 and 205. Exceptional stable and built for 2 up front. The 205 is a beast....quality of workmanship is beyond reproach.

IMO there is only one boat for Crappie and that is a Kayak. For farm ponds I paddle, for lakes a peddle. Crappie go where your boat won't go. That's how I swing. Both are Pelicans.

Nothing like sitting in a boat to help decide. Fishing in them is even better. Get with your friend, explore each, then start your decision making process.
Maybe they will bite this one……
