Fished eldo Friday and lake had raised 6' since we were on it Wed.
The ramp on the old blue stem dam behind the marina is usable but the walkway to the dock is under water.
Bite was slow but steady till the wind quit then the bite shut down so took advantage of a glass lake and went and scanned new areas. Caught all bigger females staged on brush in mouths of cove in 15' to 20' fow. Water temp was 61. Caught on 1/4 oz orange and chartreuse heads with 3" dark colored bodies. Purple or brown and chartreuse worked the best. A lot of float logs on the lake so safe boating is the word.

Good report. Thank you and nice catch.
Went to El Dorado with a co-worker yesterday and it was hot and very windy. The fishing was slow but we manage 12 crappie and a drum on the day. He said these were the biggest crappie he had ever caught. That made a slow day fun and worth it!

We fished saturday morning too but on a different lake. It was pretty choppy. For about the last 2 weeks the ticket has been brush in 12-18 ft of water.
I’m getting better. I found a couple of spots on Eldorado. I had to keep a few small ones they were aggressively taking the hook.

We fished a different lake friday. Pink was the ticket, but took us awhile to find that out. We kept 23. Had one fish at 14". Several at 12". I hooked into something that was an absolute tank. I am guess flathead, but he drug me around for 10 min before wrapping me around a tree branch.
