Caught 19 and kept 12 crappie and 4 gills. Too windy for boat, caught from shore using weighted casting bobber and chartreuse trout magnet. 20 - 25 fow and jig 4 ft under bobber.

Nice. I'm excited to see you caught them from shore. I'm in NE Kansas. Last week our lakes were still mostly ice covered. It's been warm and windy though. I might try for some bank crappie next week. I need to do some boat maintenance before I take it out this year

The crappie were out deep but I was able to cast out far enough to get on them, jig was 4' under my bobber. The wind was bad Sunday and still is today.
