    Default Kingman State Lake

I am new to KS and this lake is not far from my house. I was wondering if anyone has ever fished this lake for crappie. I seems to have a good crappie density according to the States fishing forecast. Any tips would be appreciated, also looking to meet some fellow fisherman in KS.

    Thank you

It's a shallow lake with tons of downed trees and brush on the North side, the locals hit it pretty hard especially in the spring spawn. I haven't launched my boat there but I've caught keeper crappie using a float/jig from the bank - plan on getting snagged a few times.

DRFISHDUCK, thank you so much for replying to my post. How far do you live from Kingman? I have a Ranger RT178 C that I plan on using on the lake. Probably only use the trolling motor so I do not hurt lower unit. Maybe get together some time and try it out.

Ok, I'm hoping we get some rain without flooding to bring the lakes up to normal before the spawn. I will PM you my contact info.
