    Default Toronto

Planning a trip to Toronto in early February. Iíve never been on the lake, have heard they have big crappie. Also, have heard it can be a good place to ruin your boat. Anyone have any info, tips, or anything I should know about the lake?

I have never been there in Feb. but go every year in April or May for crappie. We have always fished in Manns Cove, and yes you have to be very careful about boating and hitting underwater stumps. I don't know about other parts of the lake but in the spring Manns Cove is good fishing.

That time of year they are going to been up by the dam on the breaks of the river channel. The base of the outlet is the money shot but it's closed most years so you can't get close. Good fish but use your electronics till you find the fish on the breaks.
It's not duck season so I have to do something... :D
