    Default Big bluegill lake Ideas.

Would like some input on what the best gill lakes are. Wanting to do a fishing/camping trip with the boy (5yo) before I return to work from furlough (fingers crossed). Live in Mulvane so Winfield lake, Butler, Cowley are close enough that we fish them often, so those are off the list. The boy wants an “adventure” and travel “far away”. Lol. We will be primitive tent camping.

    Thanks, guys.

Norton has some big gills if you can find em. Lots of submerged vegetation and trees.

Maybe you have, or have not looked at the kdwpt fishing reports and lake info. They list what species should be available in most all lake.
