    Default Clinton lake brush piles

    Hello!

I saw on the KDWPT website that there are GPS coordinates for 8 different brush piles that were put in Clinton lake. I also saw a note on the website to signup for a newsletter that will contain information for new brush pile GPS coordinates.

Are there other brush piles KDWPT added to the lake that are not listed on the site meaning you would only know about them if you were subscribed to the when they were added?

I’m also curious if anyone knows what the KDWPT uses for their brush piles?

    Thanks!

There are hundreds of brush piles in Clinton. Most of them were put in before GPS was popular. Those are the piles that you just have to look for and mark them when you find them. Only in the last few years have they listed coordinates for any of the piles or cubes they put in. The best piles are the ones you find on your own that others may not know about.

From what I know, they typically drop cedar trees from around the lake. I know at times they used to drop christmas trees early in the year but I do not know if they still do that or not.

Thanks, I was wondering if they were natural or some sort of PVC type habitat. I'm guessing if they have brush pile coordinates that only come out in the newsletter around the time the brush was added to the lake that not very many people know about them, but you are right there is plenty of brush in the lake.
