    Default Gardner Lake 6-30-19

Went out for a few hours Sunday Morning. Got started around 6, water temp was 82, caught 1 10" crappie on a brush pile in 12 FOW, couldn't get any more to bite. Caught 3 bass as well on other areas of the lake while fishing for crappie. Ran into a couple of guys who had about 10 crappie, they were trolling around the outside edge in 10-15 FOW. Fish are scattered, and Very Tight Lipped. Very Pretty Morning.

Same problem I've been having. Fished several brushpiles on 2 state lakes and 1 city lake with very little success. Fish are really scattered in open water. Time to start longlining or pulling cranks. Stay after them.
