    Default EL Dorado 7/27/2018


    Caught a bunch on jigs in the timber but only 9 keepers ---22 to 24 FOW 10 to 12 ft down. Long day fishin but somebody has to do it, mite as well be me!!

    Fishin dogs are legal but gotta be on a leash when out of the boat. With Garmin and fishin pup I always catch something, may be white perch and drum but it's something!

    Fished eldorado friday. Lake is 4 1/2 ft low but clear. Fished from sailboat cove to just north of RR bridge. Caught about 20 9 1/2" to 13" kept 8 to eat. Most were in tree tops on pink and chartreuse 2.5 XL pro tube. Cast and drag with 1/16 Oz weedless head. Caught some good SM on topwater at sunrise

    Thanks for the report skeeter. Our last bag of crappie will be gone today. I worked again this weekend and I am burnt. Gona recover by wetting some 8# fluorocarbon soon...
