Thread: El Dorado Sunday May 6

Fished Eldorado Friday off the bank for awhile and caught males in 1 to 2 FOW in back of coves on south end of lake. They had turned black but hadn't fanned a nest.There wasn't a mark on them at all. The spawn is slow but definitely started. Catching wipers and white bass off the dam at Cheney still.

Question ? NEW moon May 15th or Full moon May 29th Which one will affect them the most. Come on Chatt I know you are out there what do you all think
I am thinking they will go into full spawning from May 15th tell May 29th with stragglers before and after LOL

Upper EL Dorado in the I-35 bridge areas, If enough cars cruise by blasting Led Zeppelin "Whole Lotta Love" can greatly affect the spawn. I'm ready for the spawn to end and they move deep - I like the deep water thump and play em in slow with my ultralight rods.

I hear ya Chatt, that's what we are doing at Pamona. Been paying off for us. Been better thru the week than the weekends. Don't know if it is the weather as much as the boat traffic. I know it is better for the captain of the (SS Minnow) thru the week than the weekends though. LOL

Been itchin to get some of that Eldorado slime on my boat again. Lookin to get back down there in early June...…… Going to see about doing a camp out over a weekend in June.
