My dad and I finally got into a little action last evening at Clinton. Fished about 3:30 hours and caught about 9, only 3 keepers. That's my best trip so far. I was happy.

They should be spawning at your smaller state lakes I would focus on them for the next week then switch to reservoirs.

That's a good idea! We did that up on a lake in Minnesota fishing for walleye and the guide taught us a lot.
