Marion County?? I don't think it cost anything and it's heated.
Away go fishing on my birthday. Think most lakes will be froze up so I need a doc somewhere I can go fish. Any great ideas? Can bring auger to break ice. Don't mind paying a fee

Hey Don, just checked my 2016 calendar log. We caught nearly 20 crappie at EL Dorado January 8th and January 14th we busted the ice at Chase with my boat and you caught a 22" saugeye and 0 crappie that day. Marion dock has been dead, not sure if it's improved. Eureka has a dock but I don't know if it's open 24/7 like Marion.

Hillsdale has a dock, has a heater but not very warm. You are inside out of the wind. Melvern dock is nice you can fish inside and stay warm or try fishing the slips out side. Not sure how the bite is might call.
Sorry, Don, I'm busy Monday, but I'll be in my shack Sunday if you don't mind fishing inside a sauna.
Give e a call if you're coming up
Thanks guys. I don't mind the cold. ( insulated I am). Might try perry, melvern is my usual dock but winds die down maybe wolf creek
