    Default Milford help?

Going to Manhattan to visit my daughter at KSU and was going to take her fishing some on Milford lake on Tuesday afternoon, Wed and Thursday morning. The problem is I have never even seen the lake before and have no idea where to fish. Looking to fish for wipers, smallmouth and walleyes. I need to know also where to cast net for shad as well as any patterns that may be going right now. I will be launching at the state park near the dam area. Thanks for any help you can email me also if you want.

I would launch in rush creek if you get there right at daylight they are usually breaking surface hard and heavy and you can find all the 3" shad you want in rush also.

Thanks, I went out on Tuesday at 3 pm and had no problems finding shad but went up lake about 8-10 miles and started catching the wipers on shad pretty heavy for about an hour. Then when I left I experienced motor problems and could only go about 5 mph so I had a slow 10 miles back to the launch ramp. That ended my fishing for the week. The bad thing was as I was making my way back to the state park ramp near the dam wipers from time to time blowing up around me but I was afraid to stop and fish just in case my motor would stop running. But had a great time and will be back sometime but probable not this year. Zcarey, thanks for the reply.
