    Default TOURNAMENT KANSAS CRAPPIE CLUB APRIL 9TH-10THKCC


    KCC Season Opener and B & B./ Club Meeting.
    Fundraiser Crappie Tournament to help to Benefit the
    Beverly Woods Fishing and Hunting with Kids Foundation.


    Registrations, Livewell inspections, and Weigh-Ins for both Tournaments will be conducted On-Site at the Lake Perry Yacht & Marina boat ramp. Registration and Weigh In times are the same for both Days.

    Registrations will start at 0600 AM,...Take off at 0730 Am....(0700) if Possible...
    Must be back to the ramp and in the Weigh-In Line by 3:00 Pm

    Saturday, April 9th.... Single Pole Shootout,... $ 20.00 per Person.
    Anglers are only allowed to fish with a Single Pole, rigged with a Single, Artificial Lure only, at a time. No tandem rigs or live bait allowed.

    Single Fish Weigh-In,....
    Angler with the Biggest fish of the day wins All.

    Sunday, April 10th......Regular Tournament,..... $40.00 per boat.
    No Limit on Team Members,...lets get the Kiddos out there !
    All Legal methods of Crappie fishing are allowed as per KDWPT Regulations.
    100% Paybacks on Entry fees divided as follows
    1st Place= 50% Entry fees
    2nd Place= 30% Entry Fees
    3rd Place = 20 % Entry fees

    Sunday Big Fish Contest,.....
    ( Optional,...but this is how we raise the Charity Money)

    $10.00 per Person to Enter for a chance to win loads of Gear, Tackle, Gift Certs., Guided Trips, and more......The Prize pool for this will grow all the way up to the Day of the Tournament, But already consists of the following.........

    Tightlines Bait, Tackle, & Trapping......$ 25.00 Gift Cert, plus $25.00 worth of Crappie Tackle and Gear.

    C.M.S Custom Crappie Jigs.......$50.00 Gift Cert

    Patriot Jigworks.....$50.00 Gift Cert

    Brushpile Fish Attractants Assortment and Goodies.

    Any Burger on the " Hookers N Reelers" Menu and any beer or beverage of your choosing on the house during the B & B Event. for the Angler with the biggest Slab of the day

    The Prizes for this will continue to grow as they arrive on my doorstep,....As soon as I recieve them I will get them added to the list.




    Following the Weigh In for both Tournaments,...be sure to head up the hill to Hookers N Reelers for some Great Food, Ice Cold Beverages and Bar,......and some serious BS'n on the Deck.


    New season getting underway. These are designed to be fun and used as a fundraiser for different groups. Check out Kansas crappie club face book page for some interesting information and more info.

    PM me any questions you might have I will try to help you. Often times empty sets available as there is no limit on the number of anglers in the boat.

    I got off the phone earlier with Kent Woods Jr.,...He had a Youth hunt donated to the Foundation,...but due to Kansas Regs,...it has to be a child that is a Resident,....It was decided to offer the hunt as part of the Big Fish Prize pool for the Sunday Tournament, A huge thank you to Kansas Farmland Outfitters. The hunt is avail. to any child that the Sunday Tournaments Big Fish Contest Winner chooses to give it to/

    Fun tournament over the weekend. Wind and cold on Saturday not the best but a great time.

    Congrats to Todd Morstorf with his Win today in the Single Pole Shootout with a 1.47 fish Winning him $280.00 Fat ones. The Top 5 Weights today were a 1.47 caught by Todd, a 1.34 by Mr. Beckwith, the 3rd Place Spot was a split between Will Bevan and Cody Bybee at 1.10, Lonnie Bybee caught a 1.08 and Jim Bybee's fish rounded it off with a 1.00 Even fish. Had a really good time with Everybody today,...Looking forward to seeing everybody out there again in the Morning,...A special thanks to Rod Selby for donating to tomorrows Tournament, as well as helping Will Bevan put a Top 3 fish in the boat today with Brushpile Fish Attractants,..Andy Lehman for the ACC Crappie Stix Rod that is going home with it's new owner tomorrow, Kent Woods Jr. and Kansas Farmland Outfitters for the Youth Whitetail hunt, Adam Tucker and Sharon L Talbott from Tightlines Bait, Tackle & Trapping,....50 bux Cash or Credit from Patriot Jigworks.....Tomorrow is gonna be fun,......Come on out and have some fun,..Help Kent Woods Jr. put some Kids in the Stand this year,..And the Food at Hookers and Reelers is Excellent for the Beer & Burgers afterwards. Load the boat,...grab a few Fishing Buddies,...and come on out in the Morning and have some fun..


    Congrats to Team Bybee for taking the Win yesterday with Mr. Beckwith taking 2nd and Dennis Polter taking 3rd. My Tournament Partner Don Beckstrom caught the Biggest Fish Yesterday with a 1.86. The weather turned out for the best and the food was great. Thanks to all the guys that came out to fish, we had a Blast, 3 Guys took home some money and Don took home the Prizes, and together we were able to scratch up 150 bux to help out Kent Woods Jr. and I'm gonna send 2 trays of Jigs out with it for him to use, lose, or raffle. The next KCC Event will be Milford for Lyle Babcock II and Heroes on the Water/ KS, Chapter on the 21st and 22nd of next Month, that should be a great time with plenty of Anglers since the Crappie.Com guys will be down for the Spring Camp and all, looking forward to seeing everybody there and geting to fish my favorite Lake.
