    Default Fishing this saturday 9/28/13

If you were me would you fish Clinton or Melvern. I generally fish Clinton and do good, but a friend of mine who fished Melvern several years back say we should give it a try, he is familiar with the lake. How is the Melvern bite? I don't want to make the long drive if its no good. Thanks for your help.

From what I have heard it has been really slow at both lakes. If I was going to pick one it would be the one closest to me so I didnt have to drive a long way and not catch any fish.

I'll see you at Clinton if you stay close by Saturday.

After seeing the weather forecast for Saturday, thunderstorms and rain most of the day, I'll probably stay in my slip and drown some minnows while staying dry and safe under my pontoon roof. Going out on the lake with an aluminum roof with lightening around does not excite me at all.
I just hope some keepers are around the marina on Saturday, I'm tired of catching dinks.
