    Default Hillsdale 4-17-2012


    Fished from 9 - 3PM. Lake is muddy and 61 degrees in the coves. Found a few shallow up Wade. Not much anywhere else. Got 3 keepers off one 2' deep pile and missed a couple of others on jig and a cork. Had one other keeper by Marysville. Several boats out but didn't talk to anyone that did any good. Maybe it will pick up later this week. One of the shallow females was almost spawned out.

    Thank ya for the report. I fished yesterday morning from 7 till around 10. I was just in waders. No keepers for me. Sure was chilly, but that was early. Water was muddy at hillsdale point, hit one other spot, and it was alot clearer. Picked up a few small ones there. Good fishing to ya.

    You're right. It can be good and there are a bunch of new cedar brush piles alonge the south bank. Tried it for an hour and got shut out.
