    Default Cheney wipers

Caught 7 nice wipers off the dam at Cheney Tuesday evening all on small yellow rooster tail. Cast out as far as ultra light would cast let sink 6 to 12 second and reel in slow. All were 4 to 8 lbs water was clear on the dam

Fishing the dam at Cheney, that brings back a lot of memories. I used to do that 35 years ago. My wife hooked a 10# striper there one night. I don't think they had wipers then, only stripers.

I was a stubborn knothead then, loved throwing my ambassadeurs and only threw rattletraps from the dam. Caught quite a few fish too, walleyes and white bass mostly.
