From what i have read the human eye cannot see UV reflective light on materials. We can only see UV reactive light on materials. When we shine a black light on materials and see them glow, this is UV reactive.
UV reflective do not glow. When UV light hit them it is reflected and becomes more visable to certain predators that are capable of seeing UV light.
Most feathers and many materials are UV reflective to some point. They work best in deeper water when colors fade. The UV light is reflected off the flies and are more visable to the fish than a fly that simply disappears in the dark..

I use it on almost every jig I paint anymore. I dip jig in paint then straight to UV powder. Then bake. I have put mine under Black light in the dark and I can tell the difference between them and ones with just paint.

The way it's supposed to be is dip in powder paint color and then into the UV Blast. Then once it's done you shine a UV light or Black light on it and it will glow like while the light is on it. It will not change the color for you and only animals and fish that can see UV color will be able to see this. Your eyes do not have that advantage!

Their may be a different supplier now than just the CSI UV Blast, but it's all the same, if it's UV, it's UV!

Here are some I did 7 years ago. The only one you can tell for sure has UV is the Black which looks Blue under a UV or Black light. Most of the others will glow even without UV, but I believe all this had UV coat on.

Are you sure your light is UV? I would send it back if it doesn't glow.

I think it's time to call CSI and ask them your question and maybe tell them you want to send it back for them to check? Maybe someone sold you some with Clear Powder Paint and not UV Blast? I don't have nay other reason that should be that way!

Call them really, good guys and easy enough to talk to them. Get by the girl that answered and you will get to the right guys!
