Still looks like you have got the idea down, just take a little practice to get what you want. Also mine under the Black light I used Chartreuse Hackle so it also glows under that light and the Pheasant tail feather barbules at FL Red so they Glow too! The head being FL Yellow also goes so the entire thing glows, but really you can make the tie out of anything you wish and don't have to glow.

    Good job,

RLS40 I like it a lot for some things and just love the quick set! I still just use mu home made stuff for chenille body though as it penetrates super fast and also dries fast. For anything like this jig though or I also love the Ants done using the UV Glue!

I should probably have add in the other one showing how this has some Lateral Scale Flash wrapped around the thread body before the Glue is used. And be seen through depending on how think you make the body. Here is one regular light and the other one under a Black light.

I may have been, but would have to look that feather up. I have some dyed Pheasant tails and they are Lady Amherst!

    You know your feathers!

Thank you! If I could do more fly fishing I sure would tie more flies as that is really what I love doing even more than jigs! There is so much more you can do with so many more items. I also believe if one learns fly tying they become better tiers. That is why I love the lessons at FAOL so much and really where I learned most of my tying from based on them. They use the same materials and if you learn how they tie things you can do it on a jig! The videos and all were not around when I started so it was learn the hard way. Learning the language was also a big help and most guys that tie jigs miss that part. The whole thing is amazing if you expose yourself to it all, like spinning deer hair and so many other techniques and methods. I learned the hard way, but I also got an education!
