i made some 1/8th one but i didn't like them. i made it with a sizer bigger blade and regretted it. when i make the lure flutter, the blade catches onto the hook. i'll have to fiddle again. but so far i have success fishing most panfish using 1/32 and 1/16. Trout, bass and pickerel love em too! trying to catch perch and a few other species to enlarge my species list with it

I have been using tail spin jigs like that for 40 years...great bait. A lot of people make and sell them and several mfgs have made them thru the years....its not anything new.

I tied 6 up in different colors, 1/16oz with a #1 willow leaf blade, chrome. I tried them yesterday on a bad day- high pressure, full moon after a front went though. They worked fine, I was long lining. Caught 6 keepers and as many throw backs.

You see it all the time here in the south. Lots of spinner jig heads available to tie on or put plastics on. A lot of jig tiers are tieing and selling them.
