    Skip,

That was very professional and also informative for everyone. I might have even spotted a tip in there. I like the subliminal que there:D

I found out that if you hit the back button while viewing this, you can get the still pictures and look closely at the items that Skip posted. You can also hit the "View Album" button to look at all 14 photos. This will give you a detailed look at the chenille wrapping process.
    Great technique.

Again, nice job Skip. We appreciate your efforts.

Is your question about the thread or the chenille?

I have lots of different colors of chenille that is variegated like this. I order it that way. I have offered to split my orders each of the last few times I ordered and a few people take me up on that and most don't???

I don't have to do anything to my chenille on my jigs other than tie it. No marker's or anything like that.

Thanks all I am glad you liked the little slide show. I only picked that color because I had that jig head already painted and had that piece of chenille laying there and it really didn't matter what color it was to show the steps I use.

However with that said I feel pretty confident that I can put that jig in my box and catch fish with it.

The only thing I may need to add is not all feathers are created equal and some just don't corporate at all and if not to bent I just tie them side ways. It's not worth the time to get every one perfectly straight and I don't thing the fish honestly care, LOL!

On your v cut hackles there skip, do you lay the quill on top of the hook and tie it that way, or do you cut you feathers off the quill?

For the hackle I leave it on the quill and just pinch it together.
