    thanks, I am calling it "Orange Atrocity". I think if I dangle in front of a big fat mean Crappie long enough..That Fish will get very mad, and Bite it LOL.

    Only advice is don't cut the tail feathers even like that. Other than that you did fine and that jig will catch fish. Your own your way.

    The Whipping tool got the best of me... so ended up with too much thread at the base of the neck.
    I tried the experiment of twisting two chenilles together, the rolling on the shank. Did someone say "Deep End" ?

    I agree with Grainraiser, IF the feather is to long and needs to be trimmed, Hold it where you want it trimmed and cut the stem end. That gives you the tip loose which will look more natural to the fishName:  20201115_140707.jpg
